The End of the World as We Know it
I’ve been hearing a ton about the world apparently ending tomorrow and started to feel some type of way that no one in church last Sunday felt the need to warn me.
So in obvious Alicia fashion, I googled.
According to a gentleman by the name of Harold Camping, the world is going to end tomorrow. And people actually beleive him.
Here’s the back story…

OR
“I wish I was more of a morning person.”
According to the AP Stylebook editor, the phrase suggests a contingency unlikely to come true, so use “were” for the subjunctive mood.

Running shorts
I recently took to running as a hobby. Actually, a few friends of mine and I decided to run a half marathon (Disney World Half Marathon on January 6, 2011 - here are my results).

Her posts are hilarious so I wanted to see what the deal was and how the whole online dating thing works. She had a few good dates,...

And the only thing I had in my refridgerator that took the least amount of effort and thought process to cook was asparagus.
So here I am eating my weight in asparagus and thinking about how gross my pee is going to smell....

Cinco de Mayo
Today is the 5th of May, which also happens to coincide with Cinco de Mayo AKA the day that all the Mexican restaurants in the world are packed with gringos wanting to celebrate the Mexican holiday and take tequila shots for no apparent reason. Little do they (and I) know, Cinco de Mayo is not really a major Mexican holiday…
According to history.com, Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican...

So you're the Duke/Duchess of Cambridge...now...
I found a great article from telegraph.co.uk that talks all about what His Royal Highness Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge are up to now that they have just held the wedding of the century.
Royal wedding: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge return to their hideaway
As Britain goes back to work still buzzing with the excitement of the...
