How to dress for an interview

I just spent a great part of my afternoon convincing Brandi that she needs to wear heels and a suit/blazer to an upcoming interview she has. And she spent most of the afternoon trying to convince me otherwise.

No ma’am.

I’m no HR professional, but I understand the importance of first impressions.

So I googled and found a good post from Virginia Tech’s Career Services about interview appearance and attire. Brandi and I especially liked the part where they recommend you don’t dress for an interview as you would to a club.Â
